I ordered a new laptop yesterday. I have been thinking about this for some time. I am transforming my (newer) networking PC into a music machine, and using the laptop for communications, when it arrives. Can't wait!

Today a friend and I will be watching "Bad Lieutenant". I have dim memories of the film from college days. I checked out the dvd from the library where I volunteer.

It's nice to be back in town.

I also just wanted to reiterate something I said before-- music is a rock and roll experience. People do not universally love what you do, be you mystified or Yo Yo Ma or Michael Jackson.

Yesterday I received a negative review of a cd of mine, and just recently a major label said I was too prolific to appear on their roster. On the other hand, yesterday ambient Kit Watkins and I agreed to collaborate, which I am very excited about.
